My proudest accomplishment was completing and passing an entire year of Honors Chemistry in a 6-week summer course, just to be eligible to take engineering my sophomore year. Although it was trying and tiring, I recommend it for anyone interested in STEM because engineering is well worth the sleepless summer nights.

What clubs, organizations, sports, service projects etc. are you involved in?

I am involved in club swimming with the Rose Bowl Aquatics team where I train six days a week with a goal towards competing at CIF and winning the Mission League Championship with the Flintride Sacred Heart swim team. I am an active member of St. Rita Parish and altar serve on Sundays. I volunteer with my family once a month at the St. Francis Center in Downtown LA where we distribute food to those in need. I am a member of the Student Leadership Board for the Tologs Tech Team, and I am a member of the new robotics after school co-curricular.

What is your favorite spot on campus and why?

My favorite spot on campus is the Octagon. The view from there is so beautiful, and it is a very peaceful spot.
